When traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway there are very few straight aways that will allow for passing. There are many views and things to see as you travel the parkway forcing you to slow down. Be conscientious of your speed and pull over at overlooks and let other car drivers pass by. The official Blue Ridge Parkway speed limit is 45mph. In addition if you see wildlife slow down or honk your horn to get them out of the road.
